then it rained (we WERE in Oregon), next day dawned a bit iffy, but it cleared as we pushed off, rowed downstream, hit a few waves, pulled out, packed up the rafts, drove north, crossed the river, had dinner, camped. Then the long drive home... Chris, Jim, Lindsay.

The visit to Salt Lake allowed me to get the parts to (mostly) fix my station wagon - with a new fender, grill, lights, radiator...
