Very lightweight crampons for use on hiking shoes
These are great, lightweight crampons for use on snow, and are designed to fit on lightweight hikers such as trail running shoes. Aluminum construction - this means they are good on snow, but are not suitable AT ALL for ice climbing. You can walk on low-medium angle ice using french technique (flat foot), but they will not work for ICE frontpointing. They will work for SNOW frontpointing.
The strap system allows it to be used on ANY shoe - the more structure the shoe has, the better the crampon will cling to it. Yes, you can use it with your Keene sandals, just don't expect to climb the Rigid Designator with this rig. Length is adjustable without tools.
Plastic Anti-bot system does a good job of having the snow NOT cling to it in difficult conditions.
