Drill bits for doing the devil's work.

Bosch SDS bits made for rotary hammer drills, which are used with the Petzl Rock Pecker for hand-drilling. They have the SDS attachment system, and a carbide hunk in the tip that makes them very durable. For hard stone like Basalt, Limestone and Granite, use the blunt tips. For Sandstone, I offer them tediously reground on my bench grinder to a sharp chisel tip. This works better in soft sandstone, but chips and breaks if you use it on hard stone.
