The Henries were the last mountain range mapped in the lower 48. They host their own buffulo herd. Large parts of the Henries were excluded from wilderness consideration because of some marginal mining claims. Hopefully with the re-assessment of these and other lands, the Henries can be included in the upcoming Utah Red Rock Wilderness Bill and gain the protection they deserve.
