2018 Imlay Canyon Gear Backpacks

I have been working on massaging the pack designs for about a year now – a year and a half actually – and finally finally got the pre-production samples in from the factory on July 13th. Yeah! I am very happy with the work the factory does. There are a few small mistakes, all of which will be fixed in production, which is now underway, with the shipment expected to arrive the last week of September. While the line itself has not changed much, there are a few upgrades from previous years worth noting:

The Barracks Hike, Parunuweap Canyon, Zion National Park, UT

An excellent adventure. A second Zion Narrows? Hardly. Three stars on a scale of 5 - four stars if there were no cows. But the continuity and scale of the narrows of The Barracks do not compete with the North Fork Narrows. Just doesn't.

Team Twilight Hiking Canaan Mountain, Hildale, UT

Together we formed Team Twilight, as we seemed to struggle with getting going before noon, and completed many of our activities just as the sun sank past the horizon.

Boston Basin, North Cascades

The plan was to hike in to Boston Basin for a 5-day overnight, with a wide assortment of classic peaks to choose from. Boston Basin is one of the most popular alpine climbing camps in the North Cascades.
